Doctor in mathematics and journalist. He was born in Argentina in 1949. He teaches at Buenos Aires University, New York and Chicago Universities. He has also been the MC of TEDxBuenosAires. has published Matemática... ¿estás ahí? (Mathematics... Are You There?), a book that started a series of five titles about popular mathematics, which have already sold 600.000 copies and they are still on the best-seller lists. The series want to bring maths closer to people and entertain them. Paenza is already working on his next book, following the popularization of mathematics but offering a new form of content adapted to the broad experience he has gathered throughout the years, thanks to his permanent contact with thousands of readers.
