Agustina Bazterrica was born in Buenos Aires in 1974. She has a degree in Art from the University of Buenos Aires, and works as a cultural administrator and organizer of literary competitions such as the Premio Fondo Nacional de las Artes.
He has published two short story collections and two novels, including Tender is the Flesh, winner of the Clarín Novel Award, the Ladies of Horror Fiction Award and a finalist for the Goodreads Choice Awards. It is one of the best science fiction, fantasy or horror books of 2020 according to The Washington Post. This title made it a worldwide bestseller with more than half a million copies sold worldwide and more than 400,000 in the United States. It has been translated into more than 30 languages and is currently being adapted for television and film.
