"Good things come in small packages.  You may buy it without worrying

about finding room for it on your shelves. I have already found such a place

- between a copy of a novel by Italo Calvino and a collection of the stories

of Dino Buzzati."

Alexander McCall Smith,

THE NEW YORK TIMES REVIEW OF BOOKS

"A brilliant and superb entertainment

about love and the danger of books."

Bernard Pivot,  APOSTROPHES

"Carlos María Domínguez, a major figure in contemporary Latin American fiction,

surprises us once more with his rhetorical technique which has the rare quality

of being able to fuse the story with deeper reflections on books and literature."

Almudena Grandes
