Elsa Bornemann is a long acknowledged writer of children’s books and has received numerous prizes, amongst which inclusion in Honour Lists of the IBBY’s International Hans Christian Andersen Prize (Switzerland) and The White Ravens selection for the International Youth Library, Germany.
