ARGENTINA, 1941 - 2022
Vlady Kociancich was a writer, journalist, literary critic and translator. She studied literature at the Universidad de Buenos Aires where she met Jorge Luis Borges with whom she became friends and studied Anglo-Saxon.
Ever since her first story collection, travel as a personal and literary experience combined with her roots in Buenos Aires have provided the basis for her fiction, much of which has been translated into different languages. She collaborated by writing articles and reviews for the Argentine newspapers La Nación, Clarín and Diario 16.
