Luciana De Luca

BUENOS AIRES, 1978

Writer, journalist, and author of children’s literature and adult fiction.

Her book Soy un jardín (I Am a Garden) was named “Best Crossover Book” by ALIJA in 2018 and Half a story was selected for The White Ravens 2025 list. Her children’s book Ratón de biblioteca (The Reader) has been translated into English, Korean, and Portuguese, and Ansiosa (Anxious) was published in Canada in 2024.

In adult fiction, she is the author of Las fiestas no son para niños (Parties Are Not for Children) and has contributed to various anthologies, including Cuentos cuervos (Raven Tales)Cuentos raros (Strange Tales), and Cuentos de argentinos en Brasil (Tales of Argentines in Brazil), among others. She has also published two novels: Otras cosas por las que llorar (Other Things to Cry About, 2021) and El amor es un monstruo de Dios (Love is One of God’s Monsters, 2023), the latter a finalist for the Filba Medifé Prize.
