Daniel Balmaceda is a journalist of recognized trajectory in newspapers, magazines, radio and television, besides being interested in current affairs, he is passionate about history, from which he has rescued scenes that he has been able to narrate with wit and veracity. He is a prolific author of non-fiction books: he has written more than 15 titles of historical popularization, focused on little-known anecdotes and with a very accessible style. He has also written two historical detective novels based on real events.
He is a full member of the Argentine Academy of History and of the Municipal Historical Institute of San Isidro, as well as a life member of the Argentine Society of Historians, which underlines his authority in historical scholarship, but he is also an expert storyteller and a shrewd interpreter of the most glorious or most secret pages of history.
